HABMAP

The Harmful Algal Bloom Monitoring and Alert Program collects weekly phytoplankton and water quality data at nine locations along the California coast. HABMAP provides timely updates on marine HAB events, and aids in understanding the timing, extent, and impact of these events on humans and the marine ecosystem.

One Health Harmful Algal Bloom System (OHHABS) collects data on harmful algal blooms and associated human and animal illness. OHHABS provides information about harmful algal blooms and associated illnesses for the general public, including ways that people can protect themselves, their families and their pets.
